Do you know that food you eat could have a serious impact on your sleep?

Here is an example. Do you remember the Atkins food that was popular several years ago? That was popular because it went well. Many people reduced their weight against Atkins' diet and chased to eat a lot of meat and other protein foods, as well as fat-rich foods such as fried eggs and sausages. The banned list included bread, pasta and other carbohydrates.

What is this related to sleeping? Among Atkins' diet people, it turns out that even though there was never a problem with sleep at all, I was in trouble sleeping at night. This is because their carbohydrates were very limited, they were "serotonin deficiency syndrome"

Serotonin is a neurotransmitter formed by the body by eating food containing amino acid tryptophan. Tryptophan is mainly contained in carbohydrate-rich foods such as rice, pasta and bread. If your diet is too low in carbohydrate, then probably the serotonin will be lower.

Serotonin is converted to melatonin via the pineal gland. Melatonin is a sleeping hormone that controls our circadian rhythm. Without melatonin, our sleep-wake cycle is interrupted.

So it is best to eat high protein breakfast and lunch and eat lots of carbohydrates such as pasta, rice and potatoes for dinner.

Insomnia foods including serotonin include milk such as cottage cheese, cheese and milk, soy products, seafood, poultry, whole grains, beans, rice, hams, lentils, hazelnuts, peanuts, eggs, sesame and sunflower seeds Products are included.

The food that wakes us contains tyramine. Tyramine is an amino acid that causes the release of a brain stimulant called norepinephrine, and we can keep it thoroughly overnight. Tyramine foods include ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, awagunians, tomato, red wine, green peppers, smoked meat, fish, (unfortunately) chocolate.

How about drinks? Most of us know that we do not drink coffee, tea or cola in the evening, how about healthy energy drinks? Do you know, like what gives you wings? Energy drinks can cause widespread insomnia among teenagers who are particularly awake and use them to study better. Manufacturers of these so-called "healthy" drinks intentionally target our youth with advertisements.

These energy drinks contain high levels of caffeine and taurine. Taurine is an amino acid that causes an alert condition. When combined together, these substitutes can cause hypertension, heart rate rise, dehydration. They are also prone to addiction.

These drinks are particularly dangerous if alcohol is added. This is because we combine energy drinks and depressants that contain stimulants and alcohol.

We are not merely necessary for these drinks to feel fine. Even if you take it in the morning, you will get empty calories with a cocktail that leads to a night of insomnia. What we really need is water, adequate food, adequate sleep. If you eat proper food to avoid insomnia and energy drinks, sleep is fundamentally improved. It is worth the try!
