Microsoft Outlook is available for both Windows and Mac operating systems. Some users use Outlook on Windows operating systems and some on Mac operating systems. These platforms are different, but these e-mail clients have the same purpose, that is, e-mail. There is another difference between them, which can be the main one. "Windows Outlook" includes Outlook data for storing all mailbox data including e-mail messages (sent, received and published), contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, journals, appointments, attachments, etc. Create a file. The Outlook data file created by "Windows Outlook" is known as PST or personal storage table. "Outlook for Mac" stores all mailbox data (email messages, contacts, magazines, calendar data, and other user application data) in an Outlook database file called OLM. The PST file does not support the OLM file format in "Outlook for Mac" and "Windows Outlook".
Think about the scenario
You use "Outlook for Mac" in your office. One day, your employee will ask you to switch to the current e-mail client ("Outlook for Mac" to "Windows Outlook"). You can easily switch from one email client to another email client, but you can not easily migrate files. If you switch from Outlook for Mac to Windows Outlook, you need to migrate the OLM file to the destination e-mail client. If you do not migrate, you can not access OLM files in Windows Outlook. File migration can not be done directly. Or if it completes it may harm the file. I tried the manual process two or more times to import the OLM file into Windows Outlook. I can share this trick in my post. We divided the entire manual trick into three parts to make it easy to understand.

Create a Gmail label to synchronize your IMAP mail account with "Outlook for Mac"

Transfer mailbox data from Outlook for Mac to IMAP mailbox, then transfer to "Windows Outlook"
This process is divided into two parts. Move all e-mails and other data from "Outlook for Mac" to the IMAP mailbox folder and go from the IMAP mailbox folder to "Windows Outlook". You can easily move data from the IMAP mailbox folder to "Windows Outlook", but moving data from Outlook for Mac to the IMAP mailbox folder may be a bit difficult. Perform the following procedure.
- Launch "Outlook for Mac" With your system.
- Now right click on the mailbox item you want to move. click Copy to Move> Folder .
- Enter the name of the IMAP mailbox folder and click. copy .
- After you copy the mailbox items to the IMAP mailbox folder, click. Transmission Click the button to update the IMAP mailbox folder of "Outlook for Mac". You can also update and update Gmail folders.
After that, you can move all the data from the IMAP mailbox folder to "Windows Outlook".
Important note: Before using this manual trick, do not forget to back up the original OLM file. And please do this trick with duplicate copy of OLM file.
