Learning the size of your exact bra is supposed to be the first step in buying bra and lingerie. Unfortunately, about 80% of women do not know the exact size of bra. In most cases, I do not know how to measure correctly. So it seems that your bra size is slightly off - is the underwire too big or is the strap too tight? To help you give comfort and support to your "female", please read below. Please remember that the size of your chest fluctuates just like your weight. If it has not been measured for a while, it is time to do it now!
You can measure the size of your chest using a brassiere: Please make sure there are no extra padding on the bra you are wearing. You need a tape meter (or string and ruler) and possibly reliable friends and associates.
1) To find the band size, place the measuring tape just below the chest and measure around the thorax. Make sure it is just enough to get accurate measurements, but you do not want to suffocate. Keep in mind that this measurement correlates with the elastic band extending around the chest. If the number you get contains a fraction, you can discard the fraction: therefore 32.5 will be 32.
2) Take that number and add 5 to it. Please round up if your number becomes odd. For example, if you add 5 to 32 and get 37, the likelihood of 38 will increase. I understood the exact band size.
3) Next measurement around your bust line (the point where your chest is the largest). This is a more gradual measure. Fit the measurement tape tightly around the chest and do not apply pressure. This is your bust size. Let's say it is 41 (for the purpose of demonstration).
4) Next, subtract the band size from the bust size. For example, the difference between 41 and 38 is 3 (41-38 = 3). This number will determine your cup size. Typically, every 1 inch the size of the cup rises above the letters:
- 1 inch = cup
- 2 inches = B cup
- 3 inches = C cup
- 4 inches = D cup
- 5 inches = DD cup
- And so on ...
According to the chart above, the bust size of 41 and the band size of 38 will be 38 C bra size. It's easy!
I knew your size, so what you must understand is the color, material, style you want. That is a difficult part. Good luck shopping!
